Dear Friend:

As a business located in Northeast Ohio, I know that community support is important to
you. That's why we are volunteering for and contributing to the third annual SUMMIT
COUNTY GUNS AND HOSES PARADE RUN, to be held on Sunday July 20th, 2008. We are
writing to request your help with this wonderful fundraising event that will benefit the
families of Summit County Firefighters and Police.

It all started with Luke Musgrave. Luke is an 8 year old boy with Intractable Seizures
(seizures that can not be controlled medically) His family needed a wheelchair accessible
van. Cliff Musgrave, an 11 year veteran of the Akron Fire Department, ran the Boston
Marathon (in 3 hours and 11 minutes!) in Luke's honor. In less than 2 months time, the
Musgraves were able to pick up their brand new 2006 Wheelchair Accessible Van! The van
was made possible with help from Park Ford, Mobility Works and the kindness of
strangers.

As we stood in awe at the outpouring of generosity, a group of firefighters saw a dream
snowball into fruition. That dream was to set up a fund to benefit other Firefighters and
Police Families in financial need, due to medical reasons. Hence, became the start of the
SUMMIT COUNTY GUNS AND HOSES FUND. This fund will be an ongoing fund, assessable by
servicemen, women and their families on a grant basis.

All motorcycles, antique cars and sports cars are welcome to join us on a Parade Style
Poker Run that will take you from North Akron and end at Clay's Park. A Complimentary
Concert will follow.

The major source of funding from this event will come from our Live Auctions, as well as
sponsorships. This is where you come in . your support is vital to our success. I'd like to
invite you to participate by donating an item(s) for either our live or silent auction. Please
consider being one of the event's sponsors. There are various levels of sponsorships for
participating individuals and/or companies.

For your donation and/or sponsorship, you will be acknowledged in a commemorative
program that will be distributed to all guests and contributors. Your donation is also tax
deductible (see linked in-kind donation form).

Please make plans to join us for this fantastic day and evening ! Please help us realize our
goals of raising $50,000 to ensure the continuation of a fund that will prosper for those
who protect us on JULY 20th, 2008 !
